Kirby Fredendall is new to SGG this year, with her 2023 exhibition in LANDSCAPES being her first time exhibiting in Ohio. Based in New Hope, Pennsylvania, she has shown extensively in galleries in Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and Rhode Island. Her work has been featured in publications including RiverTowns and Luxury magazines. Kirby received a BA from Duke University and completed a graduate program at Arcadia Universities. Her most recent oil on acid etched tin pieces build upon her work with her mother who is a gifted metalsmith. The creative potential of the material had always interested Fredendall, and when she decided to paint on the watery appearing surface of the tin, an entire body of work was born.
