Rod Bouc

Rod Bouc received his BFA in Painting and Drawing from the University of Nebraska and his MFA in Painting and Drawing from The Ohio State University. Throughout a distinguished career at the Columbus Museum of Art that included titles such as Director of Curatorial and Chief Registrar, Rod retired as the Executive Deputy Director of Operations in 2023. Frequent travel throughout the world – to Europe, Japan, Hong Kong, and mainland China – and regular visits to personal, corporate, and museum collections in throughout the Midwest, Chicago, and New York as Director of an art transportation organization in Columbus, has influenced Rod’s understanding of art and exhibition design. He has lectured in painting and drawing at the Ohio State University main and Marion campuses and at the Columbus College of Art and Design.

Rod’s paintings, drawings, and monotypes are collected widely and exhibited throughout the United States.
